Turbulent Flow Instrumentation (TFI) is
an Australian company that develops and supplies instrumentation
for flow-field and pressure measurement. TFI specialises
in dynamic measurement systems - systems for measuring fluctuating
pressure and velocity. Our main products include:
- multi-channel pressure measurement
systems
- 3-component velocity measuring probes
- custom instrumentation and software
All instrumentation is provided fully
calibrated and ready for use, with emphasis placed on ease
of use and total system integration.
TFI products are used mostly in sub-sonic
wind tunnels for applications including:
- aircraft aerodynamics
- surface vehicle (car and train) aerodynamics
- wind engineering and industrial aerodynamics
The rugged nature of the TFI probes and
pressure measurement systems also makes them useful tools
for on-road and other field testing.
